PitchBook, a private-market data provider, has created a new tool called “Navigator” that leverages generative AI to query startup and private tech-market data using natural language. It interfaces with both the PitchBook platform and ChatGPT.
Why it matters
For creators/entrepreneurs you might say: “What’s this got to do with me?” Well, if you’re looking at building products, partnerships, new service lines, or even curating tools, having faster, smarter access to market data gives you leverage.
You may market-test ideas, locate underserved areas, analyse competition faster, and detect trends. Instead of spending hours scanning spreadsheets, ask: “Which creator tools received funding in the past 6 months, >$10 million?” and get a rapid response. This implies better decisions, less guesswork, and faster monetisation moves.

Action to Take
If you have access to PitchBook, ask the following question: “Show creator-tools startups with >$5 million funding rounds in the last 12 months.”
Metric: Obtain a list of ≥5 companies.
Choose a new topic from the list and conduct research. Identify any patterns or gaps, such as “no one is focusing on micro-creator monetisation in niche X.”
Metric: Identify one gap/insight.
Create a storyline for one piece of content on your site, such as “Why micro-creator tools in niche X will boom in 2026.”
Metric: Content drafted within 24 hours.
Publish that piece to your audience and measure engagement (views, shares, comments) vs your average.
Metric: engagement exceeds previous average.
