This is an AI Tool that functions as an intelligent conversational agent and it also navigates the huge range of content provided by SIA. With hundreds of pages of documentation, guidance and educational materials, askSIA streamlines the search process by offering rapid and accurate results suited to users’ needs. It works like a virtual assistant, assists users in effectively discovering content without having to go through massive amounts of information.

Geoff Kohl, the Senior Director of Marketing in SIA, defined askSIA as an AI-powered interface for everything SIA has to offer. The tool was created in partnership with volunteers and staff to make the association’s information more accessible and user-friendly.
Members can quickly use askSIA through an icon on the homepage or other SIA webpages which allows them to inquire about certificates, training, events, reports and other topics.

As the tool is still in beta, SIA is committed to continued improvement of this innovation including soliciting user feedback to improve its capabilities and usability in future releases.
