ElevenLabs Opens Grants Program to Support the Next Generation of Voice AI Startups

Eleven Labs has opened applications for its grants programme, offering early-stage startups free access to its voice AI platform to help them build, test, and scale audio-driven products without upfront costs.

The initiative targets founders working on conversational AI, voice assistants, educational tools, games, and customer support systems where voice plays a central role in the product experience.

What the Grant Offers

Successful applicants can receive up to 33 million voice characters over 12 months, equivalent to more than 680 hours of AI-generated audio.

The credits allow teams to prototype, iterate, and launch voice features without worrying about early infrastructure expenses.

The grant is applied directly to the startup’s ElevenLabs account and can be used immediately after approval.

Who Is Eligible

The program is open to early-stage startups worldwide, typically with fewer than 25 employees.

Applicants must clearly demonstrate how ElevenLabs’ voice technology is integral to their product rather than a secondary feature.

Teams are evaluated based on product vision, clarity of use cases, and how voice AI enables meaningful functionality.

Application and Approval Process

Applicants are asked to provide basic information about their company, product, and intended use of the grant. Review timelines are short, with decisions often made within a few days of submission.

Once approved, credits are activated instantly, allowing teams to move quickly from idea to execution.

What Happens After the Grant Ends

At the end of the grant period, startups are not locked into any obligation. Teams can choose to upgrade to a paid plan, move to an enterprise tier with discounted pricing, or discontinue usage entirely.

This flexible structure gives founders room to validate ideas and reach traction before committing to long-term costs.

Why It Matters

As voice becomes a core interface for AI products, ElevenLabs is positioning itself as an early partner to builders shaping the future of audio-first software.

By lowering the barrier to entry, the company is enabling more experimentation and faster innovation across the voice AI ecosystem.
